The C6 Doppler measurement, wall-mounted and left there. Continuous non-invasive monitoring of sludge, slurry and raw wastewater into your SCADA. Runs on AC, DC, solar or battery.
SKU C6PF-1
One dirty line, continuously, feeding a SCADA or control system.
The C6 Fixed is the same Doppler measurement as the C6 Portable — same accuracy, same 0.5–500″ range, same insensitivity to viscosity and density — in a NEMA 4X enclosure that gets bolted to a wall and left alone.
What changes is the job. The portable answers “what is this line doing today?” The fixed answers “what is this line doing, always, into the SCADA, forever.”
Wastewater treatment plants. Return activated sludge, waste activated sludge, thickener underflow, digester feed. Every one of these is a fluid no transit-time meter will read and no wetted meter will survive without a maintenance program. Every one needs continuous flow into the control system.
Mine dewatering and tailings. Abrasive, dense, variable. A wetted meter is a consumable. Clamp-on transducers are not in the abrasion path at all.
Effluent discharge. Continuous monitoring of what leaves the site, because a regulator is going to ask.
On a fixed installation this does more work than anything else on the datasheet. The pipe you need to meter is at the bottom of a wet well. The place a technician can safely read a display is not. Separating them by up to 5000 ft means you put each one where it belongs instead of compromising on both.
Confirm your fluid actually has enough solids or entrained gas — all year. A Doppler meter on a stream that clears up seasonally will lose signal when it clears. If your line is dirty most of the time but runs clean after a rain event, tell us. That is a real design constraint and it changes the recommendation.

This instrument is specified into the following industries. Each page covers the specific measurement problems, the fluids involved, and what usually goes wrong.
Send us pipe size, pipe material, wall thickness, lining, fluid, and how much straight run you have. A Seztec application engineer will confirm the fit — or tell you it is the wrong instrument, which happens and which we would rather say before you buy.
